Help Wanted - April 2014

 

The first installment in a series of works that researched the communal construction of identity, we began looking at the difference between our 'resume self and 'selfself'- the 'resume self' being an ideallic avatar we aspire to be that appears around large groups of people, and the 'selfself' being the impolite, potent, and unpredictable self that appears in moments of intimacy.

 

What variations of intimacy cultivate happiness most frequently? What iterations of intimacy and the self are the most productive? Is happiness productive?
